1.3 Using Modules

Overview

Most Canvas courses will use modules to display content to students. Modules provide you with a great deal of flexibility; in addition to deciding on the number of modules within your course, you get to choose how to organize the various forms of content within each module, including pages, files, assignments, quizzes, and threaded discussions. Ultimately, this organizational freedom allows you to determine how students will engage with the course content--whether they're progressing through carefully sequenced learning experiences or moving freely between activities.
