Module 2 Overview

Welcome to Module 2: Communicating in Canvas. Now that you have learned how to build and organize your course content, the next step is to learn more about the options Canvas provides for communicating with students. Whether you are teaching in person or online, communication with your students plays a crucial role in facilitating learning. Fortunately, Canvas provides many tools to support communication, including Announcements, Inbox, Course Calendar, and Zoom.

After completing this module, you will be able to:

  • Create and share announcements in Canvas
  • Send and receive messages using the Canvas Inbox feature
  • Manage course schedules with the Calendar tool
